Dr. Omotara Sulyman-Scott, IDI’s newest Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, believes deeply in her motto: “Everyone Deserves to Feel Beautiful.” Her approach to facial plastic surgery and non-surgical treatments is to enhance the beauty of your natural features by creating balance and harmony. Her woman’s eye for balance and aesthetics sets her apart from her peers. She is one of the few African American female plastic surgeons practicing in the USA, and her mastery of the art exemplifies the new generation of plastic surgeons.

Dr. Omotara Sulyman-Scott was born and raised in Nigeria and moved here 22 years ago, now claiming Chicago as her home. She gained her Bachelor of Science degree at Delaware State University graduating Summa Cum Laude. She attended medical school at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where she graduated with honors. Dr. Sulyman-Scott completed her residency in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck surgery) at the University of Minnesota and her Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Sulyman-Scott, a self-proclaimed foodie, can be found cooking up all sorts of dishes discovered while traveling the world.
