David A. Lorber, MD, founded our practice in 1988 providing comprehensive Dermatology services in our Skokie and Northbrook offices. He has been recognized as Teacher of the Year for his contributions to the Dermatology education of medical students, Dermatology residents, and internal medicine residents. Dr. Lorber is a senior clinical instructor for Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals now known as NorthShore University HealthSystems and an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in the University of Chicago Department of Dermatology. He recently has been appointed to the teaching staff of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Dr. Lorber graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he was honored as Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year. He then received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School. His postgraduate training included an intership and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, McGaw Medical Center Evanston Hospital, where he was also selcted as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Lorber then completed a 3 year residency in Dermatology at the University of Illinois Medical School.

Dr. Lorber is board certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine but specializes his practice to Dermatology 100% of the time.

Dr. Lorber has been listed among the Top Doctors by Chicago Magazine numerous times and he has also been honored as a Top Doctor in the Chicago Metropolitan Area by Castle Connolly.

Dr. Lorber looks forward to work each day and feels it is a privilege and an honor to be a physician. He appreciates the wonderful relationships and friendships he and his patients have enjoyed over the years. Dr. Lorber cares about each patient and every interaction is meaningful for both his patients and himself.
