Andrew Poggemiller, MD

Dr. Andrew Poggemiller is a fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon dedicated to the highest standard of skin cancer care. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Iowa, where he developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of skin conditions. He then pursued advanced specialty training through an ACGME-accredited Mohs surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the birthplace of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, where he refined his expertise in microscopically controlled surgical techniques and complex wound reconstruction.

Dr. Poggemiller specializes in the precise surgical management of skin cancers, with a particular focus on basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas, melanomas, and rare skin tumors. Utilizing the Mohs micrographic technique, he is able to systematically examine 100% of the surgical margins in real time, ensuring complete tumor removal while maximally preserving healthy surrounding tissue.
