Adnan Ahmed, MD

Dr. Adnan Ahmed is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care in Chesterton and Michigan City, Indiana.

Dr. Ahmed earned his medical doctorate from Chicago Medical School, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in recognition of his academic excellence. During medical school, he completed a highly competitive pre-doctoral clinical research fellowship at Northwestern University under the mentorship of Dr. Jonathan Silverberg, an internationally recognized expert in atopic and contact dermatitis.

Following medical school, Dr. Ahmed completed his dermatology residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident during his final year. In addition to his extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology, he has advanced training in cosmetic procedures, particularly in laser treatments and injectable neurotoxins.

As a Northwest Indiana native, Dr. Ahmed is excited to care for patients in the community that helped shape him. Outside of the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially his energetic niece and nephews. He also loves discovering new restaurants throughout NWI and Chicago.
