Fractora is a fractional skin resurfacing system that delivers radio-frequency waves through small pins which stimulate collagen and improve the overall appearance of the skin. Fractora is approved for a wide range of concerns, including, wrinkles, acne scars, brown spots, and rejuvenation of the entire face/neck. It may also be used for stretch marks, décolletage, and textural improvement anywhere on the body. It is safe for both lighter and ethnic skin types.
For patient’s comfort, a topical numbing cream will be applied one hour prior to treatment. Additional pain control may be needed, which will be discussed at consultation with your provider.
Post treatment: Patients will have redness and swelling to the treatment area which will subside over the coming days. A topical occlusive healing ointment (Aquaphor) is applied for 2-3 days post treatment. Mineral powder makeup may be applied to the treatment area 3 days post treatment.
Providers recommend 1-4 treatments depending on the issue being treated. Pricing for Fractora depends on the treatment area.
